Luminous mother-of-pearl set in shimmering white gold. The mother-of-pearl tops are sculpted with concave centers and gently rising edges. An elegant tuxedo set in the simple, understated style of the 1930s. Created by Carrington & Co. in 14kt gold, circa 1930.

This tuxedo set consists of a pair of cufflinks and three shirt studs. The shirt studs, like the cufflinks, feature concave mother-of-pearl centers set in white gold bezels.

The backs of the cufflinks and shirt studs are finely crafted in 14kt yellow gold. Carrington & Company's attention to detail was renowned and can be seen in the quality of the smooth finish. Also note the sturdy cross bars and beveled brackets that secure the cufflinks on the cuff.

The backs of the cufflinks and shirt studs are stamped with the maker's mark of Carrington & Co. (a squared "C" enclosing "14"). During the first half of the 20th century Carrington dress sets and cufflinks were retailed by Tiffany & Co. and other fine jewelers of the day.

Measurements: The cufflinks are 9/16" in diameter and weigh a total of 8.4 grams. The tops of the shirt studs are 5/16" in diameter.
