Lapis Lazuli Cufflinks

Art Deco lapis lazuli cufflinks. (J9408)

Lapis Lazuli

Rich blue lapis lazuli sparkling with small embers of pyrite that glow like golden fireworks in the night sky. These elegant cufflinks were created by George O. Street & Sons in 14kt gold, circa 1920.

The cufflinks are as well crafted on the back as they are on the front.  Note the sturdy design of the cross bars and brackets which secure the cufflinks on the cuff.

The backs are stamped with the maker's mark of George O. Street & Sons - an "S" in an oval followed by "14".  George O. Street was a  maker of fine cufflinks and other jewels from 1837 to about 1950.  The firm was known for its exceptional craftsmanship, elegant design and fine materials.
