Elegant Art Deco CufflinksInescapable Elegance |
Art Deco cufflinks elegantly wedding the warm tones of yellow gold with the cool brilliance of platinum. The frosty platinum centers are finely engraved with scroll and foliate designs and surrounded by gold borders rippling like a never-ending wave. These striking cufflinks sparkle with the inescapable elegance of the Jazz Age. Crafted in 14kt gold and platinum, circa 1925.
The backs of the cufflinks are as well crafted as the fronts. Note the sturdy octagonal edges that help protect the engraved fronts and the strong cross bars that secure these cufflinks on the cuff. The maker's passion for design and craftsmanship is evident throughout.
The reverse of the cufflinks is stamped "PLAT" and "14K" for the purity of the precious metals. To the right of the gold purity mark is the maker's mark of Lebolt & Company (a small script "L" in a lozenge-shaped cartouche). Founded by Meyer Lebolt in Chicago in 1899, the firm created fine jewelry and hand handwrought silverware during the early part of the last century.
