Antique Tiffany Cufflinks

Tiffany laurel and gold cufflinks. (J8845)

Laurels to the Victor!

Beautiful Tiffany & Co. cufflinks reflecting the influence of the Beaux Arts style.  The marquise-shape cufflinks feature elongated gold dome centers surrounded by laurel wreathes and stylized flowers, possibly roses.  Crafted in 18kt gold,  circa 1900.

The backs of the cufflinks are as carefully crafted as the fronts.  The tops are attached with sturdy cross members and brackets.  The polished surfaces glow with the warmth of 18kt yellow gold.

Beneath the brackets is the maker's mark of "Tiffany & Co." and "18K".  Although Tiffany & Co. offered fine cufflinks created by many of the makers featured in the Antique Cufflink Gallery,  the firm also designed and created cufflinks of its own.  These cufflinks are a wonderful example.
